Dr. Mariam Awada's Cellulite Thermi-250 Before & After Photos
As we age and possibly go through multiple pregnancies, our skin and body change.
This all takes a significant toll on our skin. When your skin begins to look like it has dimples, depressions in the flesh, or lumps, that is known as cellulite. Cellulite is an embarrassing yet very common esthetic problem for many of our patients, mostly women. It is most common on the thighs and buttocks, but it can be found on the breasts, lower abdomen and upper arms too. Cellulite in the thighs and buttocks can be unsightly and can cause embarrassment, especially during the summer when patients want to wear bikinis or shorts. Your heredity, skin thickness, gender, age and how much fat and where it’s located on your body are all factors involved in whether you may get cellulite or not. Dr. Mariam Awada and the Staff at Michigan Cosmetic Surgery offers ThermiSmooth® Body for a non-surgical and non-invasive treatment to tighten loose skin and reduce cellulite on the chest, legs, arms, abdomen and more.
ThermiSmooth 250: What to Expect?
ThermiSmooth 250 targets the area under the skin and is used to temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite. ThermiSmooth® Body will also tighten and firm loose, sagging skin. ThermiSmooth 250 is performed using a handheld device that is applied directly to the skin’s surface. It is gently moved in a sweeping or circular fashion while gradually heating up the skin surface. This electrode uses controlled radiofrequency energy that targets areas under the skin to reduce the visibility of cellulite. As the targeted skin with the cellulite rises in temperature, the radiofrequency energy adjusts for precision heating. The targeted skin area is treated for about 20 minutes to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Our patients will undergo a series of these treatments over a 6 to 8 week period.* The number of treatments you receive will be determined based upon your personal cosmetic goals and body and degree of cellulite.
Even the most healthy women can have cellulite. You can feel healthy and be physically fit but have annoying cellulite and loose skin. ThermiSmooth 250 might be the right solution for you!
